Email![]() After ten years on the circuit, it appears StarCraft: Brood War will not be making another appearance at the World Cyber Games. According to the 2010 schedule while other titles like WarCraft 3, Counter-Strike, and Guitar Hero will be competitive events, StarCraft: Brood War will not be making an appearance. This is certainly a strange occurrence, clearly related to the impending development and release of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty in 2010. No official statement has been made as to the motive behind the removal of StarCraft: Brood War from the lineup. Thanks to StarCraft.org for the scoop!
